Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA license, JD, or a Master of Science in Taxation preferred
3-7 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting firm, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff, and an emphasis on Gift, Estate, and Trust knowledge

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, including related schedules and forms
Preparation and review of fiduciary accountings for estates and trusts. This position offers opportunity for advancement while providing an opportunity for you to demonstrate your expertise in tax research, tax planning, preparation of complex 1040, 1041, 706, and 709 return
Provide tax planning and consulting to our firm’s high-net-worth clients for estate and individual income taxes
Research and consult on various estate, gift, and trust-related issues, such as trustee and beneficiary issues, Crummey obligations, and generation-skipping tax issues
Identify additional estate and income tax planning opportunities for clients
Manage, coach, and mentor staff
Researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters
Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities
Overseeing complete tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries
Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
Conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Comprehensive knowledge of tax issues, especially in the areas of tax compliance and consulting services tailored to clients with the goal of tax efficiency
Considerable knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP) and broad range of tax matters in various industries
Demonstrates thorough technical skills with applicable tax laws and accounting standards in researching, completing, and reviewing works
Ability to problem solve and think creatively and logically
Excellent analytical, organization, written, and verbal communications skills.
Proficiency in ProSystems, Excel, and paperless environment
2-6 plus years of prior public accounting experience with strong tax preparation skills (1040’s, 1065’s and 1120’s)
Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting or tax
Certified Public Accountant license preferred (or CPA candidate with an action plan to pass CPA exam)
Responsibilities:
Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including planning, research, and compliance
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience to clients
Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients, including corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals
Initiate and develop relationships with appropriate levels of client’s management team to ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines

Amazing, well-established firm is seeking out a Senior Audit Manager SEC for Partnership opportunity within 1-2 years, (195K starting up to 500K plus) in the Dallas, TX area. This firm is willing to relocate the right person. Two partners are retiring. This firm specializes in Audit.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards
Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature trends and technical issues relevant to the client's industry
Oversee engagement management including managing the budget, resourcing, strategy billing and collections and progress against the plan's timeline and milestones
Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career development
Build and manage client relationships and accounts driving the client experience and expanding the client base by identifying and growing current client portfolio
Qualifications:
Minimum of seven years of current and/or recent financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university & licensed CPA
Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards
